I lucked out and got a job playing with Pat O'Brennan and company, when I was relatively new to pedal steel guitar. I worked with Pat and his brothers for many years back when Pat spent his time in Baltimore County. During that period I had the privilege of playing with the awesome Don "Deets" McCleary on guitar. I got together with Steve Cogswell and some other very talented guys during that time and we put together another band called "Ante Up". Between Pat, Ante Up and the pesky day job, I didn't get a lot of sleep, but I got to play some righteous music and hone the skills of my trade.
