a listen with head phones, or powered external speakers. To me it sounds
terrible playing through laptop built in or cell phone speakers. TURN IT UP!

Maggot Brain Jam Sound Bite 3 minutes Recorded March

The song was recorded with
a Zoom stereo recorder (hand held style) so the mix is
not as good as we had hoped.
I
tried to put some feeling into it. I hope the listener
will experience some of it.
I played a 2002 PRS CE24
Maple Top with PRS 57/08 pickups (thank you Paul), my
go to guitar. Effects are a vintage Tube Works
Real Tube Overdrive (thank you Chris) and a Morley wah
pedal (thank you Deano). The Amp is a Carr Mercury
set at 2 watts with Boost (thank you Judy).
Again, please give it
a listen with head phones, or powered external speakers.
To me it sounds terrible playing through laptop built
in speakers or a cell phone. TURN IT UP!

Maggot Brain was
released in 1971. I would have never guessed it was Funkadelic.
The song t became an instant guitar player classic. When
I heard it at age 15 it blew me away. I had never heard
anyone use a wah wah pedal the way guitarist Eddie Hazel did.
Maggot Brain is now found on the Top 100 lead guitar songs of
all time list and other top spots. IT'S ABOUT TIME!
Are you ready to tackle Maggot
Brain? Learning Maggot Brain will build technique and
